London and Paris Theatre

Theatre has been part of the scene in London and Paris for many years so what better than a visit to these cities to find out for yourself. From the famous London West End and historic theatres like Royal Drury Lane and the reconstructed Globe Theatre of Shakespeare’s time to the Lido Cabaret on the Champs Elysees in Paris.

 

 

 

Day 1 – London Arrival

Welcome to London! Upon arrival meet with your specialist tour guide and depart on your executive motorcoach for a panoramic sightseeing tour of the major sites. At the Tower of London, see the famous Crown Jewels, displayed in a specially built jewel house. After dinner, enjoy a flight on the BA London Eye. Rising to a height of 450 feet above the river Thames, the 30 minute ride on ‘The Eye’ offers unrivalled views over London‘s historic skyline. Overnight London

 

Day 2 – Shakespeare’s Globe & Royal Drury Lane

After breakfast visit Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre on London’s South Bank. Tour this perfect reconstruction of this 16th century theatre and enjoy a theatrical workshop. Later on expand your knowledge on theatre production with a backstage tour at the Royal Drury Lane Theatre, one of London’s oldest and best-loved theatres. Tonight attend a performance at one of London’s famous West End Theatres. Overnight London

 

Day 3 – Natural History Museum

This morning a visit is arranged to the Natural History Museum, particularly famous for its exhibition on dinosaur skeletons. The afternoon is set aside to explore at leisure, do some shopping near Oxford Street or attend street performances in Covent Garden. Overnight London

 

Day 4 – Tate Britain & Madame Tussauds

In the morning visit the Tate Britain Art Gallery, the world centre for the understanding and enjoyment of British art. After lunch get close to your favourite celebrities at Madame Tussauds, one of London’s most famous tourist attractions. Overnight London

 

Day 5 – Excursion to Stratford-upon-Avon

Today set off for a full day excursion to Shakespeare’s hometown, Stratford-upon-Avon. Join a local guide for a walking tour of Shakespeare’s birthplace followed by a visit to Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, the pre-marital home of Shakespeare’s wife Anne. Afterwards return to London for overnight. Overnight London

 

Day 6 – London – Paris

Today travel by Eurostar to Paris. On arrival get acquainted with the city on a motorcoach overview of the famous landmarks including the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, The Champs Elysees and Notre Dame. Spend the afternoon at leisure in Paris. Overnight Paris

 

Day 7 – Paris Sightseeing

This morning join your local guide for a walking tour of the Ile St Louis. Later on enjoy a visit to Paris most famous landmark. The Eiffel Tower is 318 m high, including the television antenna at the very top. After dinner, find yourself face to face with Paris’s splendid monuments and museums as you glide along the Seine river on a night cruise. Overnight Paris

 

Day 8 – Louvre & Lido

Today visit the Louvre, the most famous and prized museum in France. The paintings, sculptures and artefacts on display have been assembled over the last 5 centuries, but undoubtedly the most famous is Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa. Then enjoy a backstage tour of the Lido Cabaret on the Champs Elysees. Overnight Paris

 

Day 9 – Departure

Today, a motorcoach is provided for the transfer to the airport.
