For any theatre buff a visit to London’s theatres is a must. Get to see the theatres in the West End, even behind the scenes!




Day 1 – London Arrival

Welcome to London! Meet your specialist tour guide at the airport and drive the short distance to the town of Windsor, dominated by its castle. Today the castle is still in use as a Royal Residence and is the Queen’s principal weekend retreat. Later cross the bridge to Eton College, England’s finest private school. Continue to London where you will enjoy a panoramic introduction en route to your hotel. Overnight London


Day 2 – London Sightseeing

This morning visit the Victoria and Albert Theatre Museum, the world’s largest museum of decorative arts and design. After lunch enjoy a backstage tour of one of the West End Theatres. This evening have a traditional dinner at a local pub and after dinner attend a West End theatre performance. Overnight London


Day 3 – Globe Theatre

Today your first destination will be Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre at Southwark. Following a backstage tour of the Globe take part in a workshop with one of the theatre’s actors. Later enjoy a guided tour of the Tate Modern Art Gallery and visit the National Theatre for a backstage tour of one of the largest and most advanced theatres in the world. Overnight London


Day 4 – Stratford-upon-Avon

This morning depart London for a full day excursion to Stratford-upon-Avon. Join a local guide for a walking tour of Shakespeare’s birthplace followed by a visit to Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, the pre-marital home of Shakespeare’s wife Anne. Afterwards, return to London for overnight. Overnight London


Day 5 – Greenwich

Today enjoy an excursion on the Thames and take a river cruise from Embankment down to Greenwich. Here tour the National Maritime Museum which comprises the Royal Observatory and Queen’s House. Afterwards return up the Thames to the London Eye, the world’s largest Ferris Wheel. Overnight London


Day 6 – London at Leisure

Today is set aside for exploration at leisure. Maybe explore the City of London and visit St Paul’s Cathedral and the Tower of London or travel ‘up west’ to the shops! Tonight celebrate your trip with a farewell dinner. Overnight London


Day 7 – Departure

An executive motorcoach is provided for the transfer to the airport.
