Day 1 — Arrival Munich
on arrival meet with your professional tour guide for the short transfer to Munich city centre to experience an introductory tour of some famous landmarks In the early afternoon, a visit is made to Nymphenburg Palace, one time summer residence of the Bavarian rulers and a wonderful example of exotic Rococo architecture. Overnight stay in Munich.
Day 2 — Munich
This morning, climb to the top of the Munich Olympic Stadium! An expedition on to the roof of the Olympic Stadium is a fascinating experience. Enjoy the view over the city of Munich’s skyline with its characteristics spires of the Frauenkirche Church. In the afternoon, a table has been reserved in one of the tents of the Oktoberfest. Overnight stay in Munich.
Day 3 — Herrenchiemsee and Eagles Nest
Today drive east to the Lake Chiemsee where you board a ship from Prien to Herremchiemsee for a visit to King Ludwig’s Herremchiemsee Palace, a perfect replica of the Palace of Versailles. Afterwards continue to Berchtesgaden to visit the so-called “Eagles Nest” built as a 50th birthday present to Adolf Hitler. Overnight stay in Munich.
Day 4 — Neuschwanstein Castle
This morning, enjoy a visit to the hilltop castle of Neuschwanstein, the fairy tale castle of King Ludwig II and the inspiration of Walt Disney’s Castle in Disneyworld. Return to Munich for free time to explore more beer halls perhaps. Overnight stay in Munich.
Day 5 — Oktoberfest
Full free day again to perhaps visit another beer hall or two - your call. Overnight stay in Munich.
Day 6 — Departure
An executive motor coach is provided for the transfer to Munich International Airport.
