Day 1 – Arrival to Stratford-upon-Avon


On arrival meet with your professional guide for the journey to Stratford-upon-Avon, just before the town is the small village of Shottery  where a visit will be made to Anne Hathaway's Cottage, the childhood home of Shakespeare's wife. In the town itself visit the Holy Trinity Church where Shakespeare is buried before checking-in to your hotel and a visit is arranged to Shakespeare's Birthplace which is a half timbered house where he was born in 1564 and. Overnight in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Day 2 – Royal Shakespeare Company


Meet this morning with a leading theatre expert in Stratford for a guided tour of the theatrical highlights of Shakespeare’s home town including a visit to The Royal Shakespeare Theatre with included lunch. Free afternoon and the option There is the option to experience one of The Royal Shakespeare Company programmes. Overnight Stratford-upon-Avon.

Day 3 – Warwick Castle


This morning travel to Warwick Castle. At Warwick Castle discover over 1100 years of history though spectacular shows, spellbinding attractions, inquisitive history tours and over 64 acres of grounds and gardens to explore before an early afternoon arrival in London. Overnight stay in London.

Day 4 – London


Depart on an extended guided tour of London's major landmarks. Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben and the Old City of London. Visit and tour St Paul's Cathedral and the Tower of London with a light lunch included within the walls of The Tower. This evening there is the option to attend a performance at one of London's famous West End theatres. Overnight stay in London.

Day 5 – London


Today trace theatre land's history and learn about personalities who have shaped theatre. There is the opportunity to explore a particular theatre style or production and if possible this can be tailored to your needs. Backstage tours and afternoon tea with a critic have all been recently arranged. This evening there is the option to attend a performance at one of London's off West End theatres such as The Royal Court or The Donmar Warehouse. Overnight stay in London.

Day 6 – Paris


Travel from London on the Eurostar train direct to Paris. On arrival experience a guided tour of this beautiful city and see The Eiffel Tower, The Champs Elysee and cruise on The River Seine, before the highlight of the Paris visit, a traditional French Can-can dance lesson!  Return to London on Eurostar in the evening. Overnight stay in London.

Day 8 – Shakespeare in London


This morning visit Shakespeare's Globe Theatre on London's South Bank and tour the magnificent reconstruction of this 16th century theatre and the original Rose Theatre nearby. In the afternoon take the opportunity to attend a performance at the theatre. Some "groundling" standing tickets can be obtained from as little as £5. Overnight stay in London.

Day 9 – Royal Drury Lane and A Theatre Workout Workshop


A tour backstage at the theatre Royal Drury Lane is arranged this morning, one of London's oldest and best-loved theatres. See the Royal Box, the Royal entrance, lifting gear and much more. Later a Theatre Workout workshop is arranged which is tailored to your needs. Take the opportunity to attend An optional theatre ticket tonight to attend another performance at one of London's famous West End or off West End theatres. Overnight stay in London.

Day 10 – Theatre Museum


A visit and tour is arranged this morning to the Victoria and Albert (V&A) Museum. The Theatre & Performance collections are an incredible resource that document current practice and the history of all areas of performing arts in the UK, including drama, dance, opera, circus, puppetry, comedy, musical theatre, costume, set design, pantomime, popular music and much more...The remainder of the day is at leisure in London. This is followed by a costume and make-up workshop and demonstration by one of their expert theatre curators. Overnight stay in London.

Day 11 – National Theatre and Dance


This morning enjoy a National Theatre tour that goes behind-the scenes to see three auditoriums, front-of-house, scenic workshops and backstage areas, all in the company of well-informed, enthusiastic guides. Afterwards, a dance lesson is arranged at a local London dance school. This evening there is the option of a ticket to a performance at the Royal National Theatre on the South Bank. This day can be changed to incorporate tours, talks and shows associated with orchestras, ballet and opera with our contacts at The ENO, The LSO and The Royal Opera House. Overnight stay in London.

Day 12 – Departure


An executive motor coach is provided for the transfer to London's Heathrow Airport.
