SAMPLE DAILY ITINERARY BELOW

SOME OF THE TOUR’S SIGHTS.

Day 1 — Arrival Berlin


On arrival meet with your professional tour guide for the short journey to central Berlin to experience an introductory tour of some famous landmarks. Free time to explore Berlin’s Christmas Markets? Overnight stay in Berlin.

Day 2 —  Dresden


After breakfast, travel through to Leipzig on your way to Dresden. Heavily damaged by Allied bombing during World War II, Leipzig has a rich cultural heritage. Take some free time to explore Leipzig’s traditional Christmas Market. Later on, continue to Dresden and get acquainted with the city on a sightseeing tour. Overnight stay in Dresden.

Day 3 — Dresden


This morning drive North West to Meissen, an old German town world-famous for its porcelain. Tour the Demonstration Workshop at the Porcelain Museum. Afterwards return to Dresden and visit the Frauenkirche. Destroyed during WW II, the Lutheran Church has been reconstructed and is a symbol of international reconciliation. Later today, enjoy a tour of the Old Masters Picture Gallery. The rest of the day is free to further explore Dresden Striezelmarkt, Germany’s Oldest Christmas market. Overnight stay in Dresden.

Day 4 — Nuremberg


This morning, travel to Nuremberg and get acquainted with the city on a guided walking tour of the Old Town. The Old Town provides a fitting setting for the world-famous Christmas Market with over two million visitors a year. Overnight stay in Nuremberg.

Day 5 — Bamberg


Travel on a day excursion to the Bavarian Town of Bamberg. Bamberg is one of the few German cities that was not damaged by WW II bombings. On arrival a step on local guide leads you on a tour of the Old Town, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. In the afternoon, embrace the familiar atmosphere of the Christmas Market. Overnight stay in Nuremberg.

Day 6 — Munich


After breakfast, leave Nuremberg and head south to Munich. En route, stop in Regensburg, one of Germany’s oldest towns. Discover the exceptionally preserved medieval city and enjoy some free time to explore at your own pace. Overnight stay in Munich.

Day 7 — Munich


In the morning familiarize with your surroundings on a an extended guided tour of the city. The tour includes an admission to Nymphenburg Palace, the summer residence of the Bavarian rulers. The afternoon is set aside for last-minute souvenir shopping at Munich’s traditional Christmas Market. Overnight stay in Munich.

Day 8 — Departure


An executive motor coach is provided for the transfer to Munich airport.
