Just 4 nights, this works for both first time visitors and is designed around Royal Ascot in June. However, it can easily be adapted for other London area classics such as The Epsom Derby (June) and Glorious Goodwood (July). As you know we are experts at group travel so if you need a tour that needs a different geographical focus then please get in touch. SOME OF THE TOUR’S SIGHTS.
Day 1 – London Arrival
On arrival meet with your professional tour guide and experience an introductory tour of some famous landmarks of London's old city and vibrant West End - Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and more. This London in a nutshell tour is suitable for first time visitors and those wishing to reacquaint themselves with the capital. Overnight stay in London.
Day 2 – Newmarket
A fully guided day excursion out of London to Newmarket. Visit The National Horse Racing Museum and take a journey in the museums mini-bus giving you the opportunity of seeing behind the scenes. Before visiting a yard the tour starts on the training gallops to watch horses exercising on Newmarket's extensive training grounds. If it is in operation on that day a visit to the horses' swimming pool is included. After the two-hour tour the mini-bus returns to the Museum to enable people to enjoy the Museum Galleries and ride the horse simulator if you wish. Overnight stay in London.
Day 3 – Day at the Race
Included group transfer by private motor coach to and from the racecourse with various admissions depending on your groups requirements. Overnight stay in London.
Day 4 – London
Day at leisure. Many of London's top museums are still free to enter, The National Gallery, The British Museum and The Victoria and Albert Museums are amongst the best in the world. Other tours can be arranged, some at only certain times of the year and these include inside visits of The Houses of Parliament, The Tower of London and Buckingham Palace. Overnight stay in London.
Day 5 — Departure
An executive motor coach is provided for the transfer to London's Heathrow Airport.
