For anyone London’s theatres are a must. Get to see the theatres in the West End, even behind the scenes, meet critics and get to see the stars up close at smaller venues such as The Royal Court Theatre and The Donmar Warehouse.

Day 1 — Arrival London
On arrival meet with your professional tour guide and drive the short distance to the town of Windsor, dominated by its castle. Today the castle is still in use as a Royal Residence and is the Queen’s principal weekend retreat. Later cross the bridge to Eton College, England’s finest private school. Continue to London where you will experience an introductory tour of some of the famous landmarks passing Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, The Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. Overnight stay in London.
Day 2 — London
Depart on an extend guided tour of London with a focus on theatre. Enjoy a backstage tour of one of the West End Theatres and have an included afternoon tea with a theatre critic and an opportunity attend a West End theatre performance, ideally at the theatre visited earlier. Overnight stay in London.
Day 3 — Globe Theatre
Today your first destination will be Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre at Southwark with a backstage tour and also visit The Rose, the site of the original theatre. Visit the National Theatre for a backstage tour of one of the largest and most advanced theatres in the world. An opportunity exists this evening to see a performance at one of off West End Theatres such as The Royal Court or The Donmar Warehouse. Overnight stay in London.
Day 4 — Stratford-upon-Avon
This morning depart London for a full day excursion to Stratford-upon-Avon. Upon arri8val experience a walking tour that includes Shakespeare’s birthplace, The Royal Shakespeare Theatre and his burial location at The Church of The Holy Trinity. Before heading to London call in to the nearby village of Shottery to visit Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, the pre-marital home of Shakespeare’s wife. Overnight stay in London.
Day 5 — Away day from London
Options that can be included today could include : Day trip to Stonehenge and Bath, the glorious countryside of Kent, a river trip to Greenwich or even a day trip by Eurostar Fast train to Paris. Overnight stay in London.
Day 6 — London
Today is set aside for exploration at leisure. Maybe explore the City of London and visit St Paul’s Cathedral and the Tower of London or explore the shops of Oxford Street and Knightsbridge or some of London's Museums, many of which including The British Museum are free to enter. Overnight stay in London.
Day 7 — Departure
An executive motor coach is provided for the transfer to London's Heathrow Airport.
