SOME OF THE TOUR’S SIGHTS.

Day 1 — Arrival Edinburgh


On arrival meet with your professional tour guide before traveling into Edinburgh and the medieval Old Town. Experience an introductory tour of some of the famous landmarks including admission to Edinburgh Castle. Walk  on The Royal Mile and the 17th century "New" Town. This evening enjoy true Scottish hospitality and a Scottish banquet at a special welcome dinner accompanied by bagpipers, Ceilidh dancers and a Scottish band. Overnight stay in Edinburgh

Day 2 —  Edinburgh


This morning depart on an extended guided tour enjoying a tour of the Royal Yacht Britannia, now permanently moored at Leith after decades of service to the Queen and Royal family. Onto St. Giles Cathedral, the spiritual home of Presbyterianism and the 'High Kirk' of Edinburgh, where you will perform a lunchtime concert! The rest of the day and evening is at leisure. Overnight stay in Edinburgh.

Day 3 — Perth and Oban


Leaving Edinburgh this morning head west across Scotland to Oban. En Route stop in Perth to visit Scone Palace which was the capital of the Pictish kingdom fifteen hundred years ago, and has been the seat of parliaments and the crowning place of Kings. Continue to the outskirts of Crieff and The Famous Grouse Experience interactive whisky tour. Later arrive in Oban The Gateway to the Isles. Overnight stay in Oban.

Day 4 — Oban


Start the day with a cruise on Loch Etive and enjoy the dramatic scenery and take photographs of seals at the seal colony, maybe see a Sea Eagle. Back to Oban and take part in a lunchtime concert performance at St. John’s Cathedral. During the afternoon visit Inverawe smokeries and fisheries to see the process of smoking salmon. The rest of the afternoon at leisure or take the option to visit Inverawe estate angling school where lessons can be had in the art of fly fishing.  Overnight stay in Oban.

Day 5 — Loch Lomond 


Today travel south and enter the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. Take a cruise on Loch Lomond before an arrival  in Glasgow, Scotland’s largest city.  The city reinvented and transformed itself from its strong industrial past into an award winning post-industrial city. Visit the National Piping Centre, a must for all musicians to find out about and have a go at playing the Great Highland Bagpipe..  Overnight stay in Glasgow

Day 6 — Glasgow


 This morning, travel to Stirling and to visit Stirling Castle. The Castle is one of Scotland’s grandest castles due to its imposing position and impressive architecture. The Scenery will take your breath away. Return to Glasgow Cathedral (St Mungo's) where a visit is arranged and another concert performance. Overnight stay in Glasgow.

Day 7 — Departure


An executive motor coach is provided for the transfer to either Glasgow or Edinburgh airports.
