A perfect opportunity for your team to compete overseas and visit the roots of the game. This particular tour concentrates on Southern England but can easily be adapted to head further west to Taunton or north to Old Trafford and Headingly. Test Matches, County and local matches can all be included as required.

Day 1 — Arrival London


On arrival meet with your professional tour guide and travel straight to the nearby town of Windsor. Visit the castle, weekend home of the Royal Family and the largest inhabited castle in the world. After the tour, continue to London where you enjoy a free evening to relax and settle in. Overnight stay in London.

Day 2 —  London


After breakfast, experience an overview tour of the major sites like Buckingham Palace, The Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, St Paul's Cathedral, the Tower of London and of course London's most famous bridge, Tower Bridge. This afternoon a practice session is arranged to gently get into the swing and warm up for the games ahead. Overnight stay in London.

Day 3 — Lords


This morning visit the world's most famous cricket ground, Lords. Lord's offers a fascinating insight into both the modern and historic game. Enter the world famous Long Room, the player's dressing rooms and the press centre offering superb views of the ground. Later today, play your first match against local opposition. Overnight stay in London.

Day 4 — Hambledon and Portsmouth


Depart London and head through the countryside to Hambledon, a small village known as the "Cradle of Cricket". The laws of Cricket were formalised there in 1770 in a small village pub "The Bat and Ball" that was host to the local cricket club. Continue to Portsmouth to visit the small terraced house that was the birthplace of Charles Dickens and take the lift to the top of The Spinnaker Tower to get spectacular views of the naval base and the south coast. Overnight stay in Hampshire.

Day 5 — Salisbury and Stonehenge


This morning, tour through the picturesque countryside to Salisbury, originally a religious settlement in the 1300's and now a thriving city dominated by the vast bulk of the cathedral, whose spire rises to the dizzy height of 404ft, the tallest in Britain and contains a Magna Carta. Next we stop at Stonehenge, the mystical circle of stones that has stood proud over Salisbury plain for some 4000 years, and its true purpose is still unknown. Later continue to Bath where a game has been arranged. Overnight stay in Bath.

Day 6 — Bath


After breakfast, join a local guide for a sightseeing tour of Bath, a town famous for its spa during the Roman occupation of Britain. The tour includes a visit to the unique Roman Baths and the Pump Room. Also visit Bath Abbey, known as the Lantern of the West because of all the glass it contains. The rest of the day is set aside to explore at your own pace. Overnight stay in Bath.

Day 7 — Birmingham and Edgbaston


Today drive through the Cotswolds, an area characterised by an abundance of quaint villages, market towns and rolling green hills. Later continue to Birmingham where you will visit Edgbaston cricket ground, regular test match venue and home to Warwickshire County Cricket Club. A practice session has also been arranged at the ground. Overnight stay in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Day 8 — Warwick Castle


Begin the day with a visit to William Shakespeare's Birthplace and free time is this attractive town followed by a visit to the pre marital home of his wife Anne Hathaway. This afternoon, the last game of the tour is arranged against local opposition.  Overnight stay in Stratford-upon Avon.

Day 9 — Stratford and Cambridge


Visit Warwick Castle this morning. Over a thousand years of secrets hide in the shadows of the Castle. From the days of William the Conqueror to the reign of Queen Victoria, the Castle has provided a backdrop for many turbulent time. This afternoon continue to Cambridgeshire. Overnight stay in Cambridgeshire.

Days 10 — Cambridge


Along with Oxford, Cambridge is renowned as one of England's two great university cities. Explore the city with a visit inside Kings College Chapel included. A peaceful journey on a guided traditional punt will glide you slowly through the ancient waterways. Following your "punt" head back towards London. Overnight stay in London.

Day 11 — Departure


An executive motor coach is provided for the transfer to London's Heathrow airport.
