The Reformation Trail in Europe

The Reformation Trail in Europe

Germany, the Heartland of the Reformation, offers a great number of places where the past mingles with the present and the memories of Martin Luther are traceable and tangible. Eisenach where he went to school, Erfurt where he studied, Wittenberg the town of his 95 Theses, the Wartburg Castle where he found refuge and produced his monumental translation of the New Testament into German. Follow the Reformation Trail and at the same time enjoy the beauty and profundity of town and country. Experience the vibrant and fascinating modern capital of Germany, Berlin and the music associated with Salzburg. Tour can be made longer or shorter as required. Extend to Switzerland for Calvin and Zwingli perhaps ?
